William (Bill) is Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Research and Planning – Banking, Financial Markets and IT Services at Huawei Technologies, Shenzhen, China. Bill’s responsibilities include the further development of Huawei’s Financial Services Industry Strategy with research and formulation of new solutions encompassing technology and business architectures, emerging technologies centered on AI/Anaytics, Blockchain, Mobile/Digital and IoT, and evolving business models in the FinTech / RegTech era across the financial services sector.
Bill is also Huawei’s representative and Co-Chair of the China Greater Bay Committee in the FinTech Association of Hong Kong, and a CTO and Executive Board Director for Saving Promise.
Prior to joining Huawei in 2016, Bill was a CIO and CTO for a Blockchain Strategy and Technology company in the US, and a Principal Advisor for a CIO Advisory Consulting firm. Bill has spent most of his 25 year career with IBM, KPMG, and Wells Fargo Bank, stationed in Europe, Americas, and Asia Pacific regions working holding various senior management roles such as CIO, CTO, Principal Technology Architect and Executive Architect. Bill holds multiple industry and professional certifications focused on full-scale enterprise architecture and technology in the Financial Services Industry.
Peter Leighton is an experienced renewable energy executive with over 20 years of experience in project development and mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector. He is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of RE Royalties, an innovative finance company specializing in renewable energy.
With climate change a pressing issue globally, RE Royalties has become an important source of capital for renewable energy projects. In 2016, RE Royalties officially launched as the first company to take the royalty-financing model, well proven in other industries, and apply it to the renewable energy sector. RE Royalties is a publicly traded company on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol “RE”.
Peter is the former President and Chief Operating Officer of Finavera, where he delivered $750 million worth of wind energy projects from the embryonic stages of development through to the ready to build stage. He also worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Accenture’s Business Services for Utilities, the Director of Clean Energy B.C. from 2010 to 2016, and Health Shared Services B.C. from 2009 to 2018. This year Peter was named as an Honouree to Canada’s Clean50 for 2020. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Geography/ Geology from Queen’s University and a Master, Business Administration (MBA) from the University of British Columbia.
Elizabeth Turner is a senior technology manager utilizing Knowledge Management (KM) capabilities at a global alternative assets firm in Fort Worth, Texas. She employs a three-tier approach of program management and process consulting, product/service management, and the power of human connection to bridge technology and business.
Elizabeth is the Smithsonian Libraries’ appointee to the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) KM Section Standing Committee and chaired its 2017 Open Session in Wroclaw, Poland. In 2019 she co-presented an AI software demonstration for libraries at the IFLA KM Satellite Meeting at the Ionian University of Corfu, Greece. She is a 2020 Co-chair for the KM Satellite meeting at Trinity College, Dublin and serves as Information Coordinator to the Section.
Recognized in 2018 as speaker of the year by the DFW Knowledge Management Community of Practice, she has given KM-focused presentations around the US and internationally to audiences of hundreds.
She is also a classically trained ballet dancer and performed 2011-2018 in contemporary works by the nonprofit Momentum Dance Company based in Irving, Texas.

Cliff understands the challenges of harnessing never-ending data—and the need to leverage it in imaginative yet impactful ways. He regularly conducts data visualizations workshops to business professionals across all industries, coaching others to embrace a humanized mindset as a means to making data more relatable and, most importantly, actionable.
Fluent in Spanish, Cliff earned his M.B.A. from Arcadia University and his B.S. in Marketing from Siena College.

Nuray Gurtekin Sen is leading the Business Excellence and Operational Transformation function under Siemens’ Financial Services unit for the Americas Region. Before this role she took Global Process, Quality and Strategic Programs PMO function lead role more than 7 years in Siemens Corporate Technology Research in Digitalization and Automation.
Nuray possess 20 years of progressive experience and knowledge in Business and Process Transformation, Continuous Improvement, Change Management, Operational Excellence, Program Management, and Quality Management fields. She has gained broad expertise in production, service, project, and R&D businesses worldwide in life science, smart infrastructure, digital industries, energy management, and gas and sectors.
Just before her current role, Nuray took Global Process, Quality and Strategic Programs PMO function lead role more than 7 years in Siemens AG Corporate Technology Research in Digitalization & Automation in HQ Germany including all regions in China, India, Russia, Austria and Romania. Nuray managed several end-to-end enterprise level global process design, tool and system integration projects.
In her capacity as business excellence executive, she adapted business operating models for project management, technology research, SW development, service excellence and lean manufacturing best practices across the regions in Europe, Asia and US. Bringing process and organizational change experience, Nuray led business transformation and change management programs. Additionally she has planned and executed post-merger integration (PMI) and carve-in projects successfully for the Siemens Healthcare units in US, Germany, China and India. Currently Nuray is acting as internal consultant for Siemens global senior executives on process design and improvement, change management, business transformation programs.
Since 2014, she has been acting as Program Manager for multi-year strategic growth and Operational Excellence program resulted in significant impact to grow in US along with process performance, productivity and cost improvements. Nuray has B.S. degree in Food Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Turkey and MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
J. Patrick Law is the Operations Chief of Fiserv’s Card Services Division. A creative, “out-of-the-box” thinker, client centric and employee engaged leader, Patrick is responsible for the daily operational management of 4,000 ATM/Debit/Network financial services clients.
Michael Rivera is Chief Analytics Officer and Senior Consultant of Thinaer, an IoT platform thatintegrates actionable data from highly-calibrated sensors and real-time employee feedback to give organizations unparalleled insight into their operations, predictive analytics to see thefuture, and consultative business process redesign to get improved results. In addition to working at Thinaer, Michael is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Innovation at the Fox School of Business at Temple University. At Fox, Michael engages in leading-edge research in the areas of real-time feedback, strategic analytics and creativity/innovation. Sebastian is currently heading the operational excellence team for the Swiss Re's Property and Casualty Business Management organization. Sayeed serves as First Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Strategic Planning at Wells Fargo. In this role, he a) leads corporate strategy and business strategy, b) develops executive presentation and communication for C-level leadership, the Board of Directors and external stakeholders/partners and c) delivers successful strategic outcomes by understanding business needs, partnering thoughtfully with lines of businesses and always driving for results that exceed expectations
He has 17+ years of leadership experience in financial services, banking, and technology industries in various functions of strategy, finance, M&A, marketing, sales, software products development, and technology promotion. He has increased profitability, generated growth, managed risk and led cultural change on multiple occasions. He has published 2 technical articles and filed a patent/disclosure. He also serves as a board member and committed leader for multiple non-profit organizations (~ $100 million total annual budget).
He is a Wharton Fellow at University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School. He earned a master of business administration degree in strategy and finance from Washington University in Saint Louis. He also holds a bachelor of technology degree in mechanical engineering with minor in economics from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Max has been focusing on understanding customer pains, their causes, and solutions for his entire career. Before joining the product team at Celonis, he spent 4 years as a product manager for a KYC software company helping financial services institutions remain compliant with regulations.
Today as a product marketer for Celonis, he continues to investigate the challenges that face financial services in 2020, and bring that insight to the greater product team to help develop solutions to overcome those unique challenges
Josh Prokes is our Regional Sales Director for the Southeast region. He began his career at AT&T Wireless Services/Cingular Wireless holding numerous positions in Engineering, Planning, and Network Operations. Next, he joined Starent Networks as a Sales Engineer covering AT&T Mobility and later at Cisco Systems (Starent was acquired in 2010), where he led the effort for AT&T residential small cell (femtocell). During his tenure with Cisco, Josh also worked as a sales Account Executive serving both AT&T Foundry, AT&T Wi-Fi, and MEC lines of business. He then served as the Director of Sales- Americas for a Silicon Valley based start-up with emphasis on 3D beam-forming and Ma-MIMO technologies for wireless operators migrating to 5G technologies. Josh has a strong business and technical background, is a Cisco Networking Specialist (CNS), and has established C- level relationships within the Tier-1 SP and Enterprise community.
